Schenectady Pride is a community group affiliated with the Pride Center of the Capital Region. Originating in May 2012, we are focused on building bridges and bringing awareness to and for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.
Pride is more than a moment—it's a movement. With recent administrative changes, your partnership is now more critical than ever. Your support will ensure we can continue providing vital services, expand our programs, and maintain the safe and affirming spaces that empower LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.
As we look ahead to 2026, we're excited to continue to support our year-round commitment to celebration, connection, and inclusion. Your support is crucial in uplifting our community, protecting our rights, and fostering meaningful change.

Something new to our stage and exciting directly following our festival will be Corgi Pride ran by NYS Capital Region Corgi Events!
Everyone loves a corgi... but these corgis will be strutting their Corgi Pride and hoping for your votes to win a Corgi Pride basket! Stick around after 5pm and vote for the best dressed Corgi!

Schenectady Pride is back, and we are excited to kick off Pride celebrations across the Capital Region on Saturday, June 6th. Our vibrant festival will feature live entertainment, vendors, community tables, and a special appearance by Kandy Muse from RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 13, and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, Season 8.
